OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.
- Market screening - gather, analyses and consolidate internal and external input regarding innovations and state-of-the-art digitalization cases and AI Use Cases for Procurement.
- Support Sustainability activities such as achieve the Sustainable Procurement targets, EcoVadis assessments, Supplier HSSE & Sustainability pre-qualification.
- Setup and execution of digital projects and initiatives -structuring complex information and develop practicable solutions.
- Support the team in projects and associated tasks, e.g., project management tasks, data analysis.
- Select and document use cases and assist with group-wide communication, preparation of Power Point presentation, SharePoint Posts etc.
- Organize meetings/Trainings/Demo Sessions with Suppliers and keep track of deadlines and work progresses, be part of ongoing changes in the company and contribute with your own knowledge and ideas developing further competencies beside applying your theoretical knowledge, build an understanding on the impact of key issues for businesses relating to climate change and sustainability.
What we are looking for
- You are a currently enrolled student.
- IT & Digitalization & new technologies excite you and you want to learn more.
- You are fluent in English (German is a plus).
- Confident in handling of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- You are self-confident in your abilities and can integrate well into a team.
- You work precisely and independently.
- You have an analytic, research, presenting, organizational / administrative / innovative and creative skill.
- You hold a valid work permit for Austria.
